Fire and Electric types: weaknesses, resistances and Pokémon

Fire and Electric Pokémon take quadruple damage from Ground moves, take double damage from Water and Rock moves and resist Steel, Fire, Grass, Electric, Ice, Flying, Bug and Fairy moves.

With 8 resistances and immunities against 3 weaknesses, it is a very solid defensive combination.

Fire moves are super effective against Grass, Ice, Bug and Steel and not very effective against Fire, Water, Rock and Dragon. Electric moves are super effective against Water and Flying and not very effective against Grass, Electric and Dragon.

To beat these Pokémon, your best pick is Ground moves. Avoid Steel, Fire, Grass and Electric moves, which deal little or no damage.

No Pokémon has this exact type combination in the main games yet.
