On top of that, the move has +2 priority, so it usually goes before regular moves and raises the user’s Evasion by 1 stage.
As a Electric-type move, it is super effective against Water and Flying Pokémon, not very effective against Grass, Electric and Dragon and has no effect on Ground. Electric-type Pokémon get a 50% damage bonus (STAB) when using it.
