On top of that, the move has +1 priority, so it usually goes before regular moves and hits 2 to 5 times in a row.
As a Water-type move, it is super effective against Fire, Ground and Rock Pokémon, not very effective against Water, Grass and Dragon. Water-type Pokémon get a 50% damage bonus (STAB) when using it.
