Infestation is a special Bug-type move introduced in generation 6.

It has 20 power, 100% accuracy and 20 PP.

On top of that, the move has a 100% chance to trap the target for a few turns.

As a Bug-type move, it is super effective against Grass, Psychic and Dark Pokémon, not very effective against Fire, Fighting, Poison, Flying, Ghost, Steel and Fairy. Bug-type Pokémon get a 50% damage bonus (STAB) when using it.

116 Pokémon can learn Infestation, such as Butterfree, Beedrill, Ekans, Arbok and Oddish.

Official effect
