On top of that, the move makes the user take 33% of the damage dealt as recoil.

As a Normal-type move, it is not super effective against any type, not very effective against Rock and Steel and has no effect on Ghost. Normal-type Pokémon get a 50% damage bonus (STAB) when using it.
