On top of that, the move lowers the target’s Defense by 1 stage (20% chance).

As a Dark-type move, it is super effective against Psychic and Ghost Pokémon, not very effective against Fighting, Dark and Fairy. Dark-type Pokémon get a 50% damage bonus (STAB) when using it.
