About the move

Acid is a special Poison-type move introduced in generation 1.

It has 40 power, 100% accuracy and 30 PP.

On top of that, the move lowers the target’s Sp. Def by 1 stage (10% chance).

As a Poison-type move, it is super effective against Grass and Fairy Pokémon, not very effective against Poison, Ground, Rock and Ghost and has no effect on Steel. Poison-type Pokémon get a 50% damage bonus (STAB) when using it.
