Georgie grows into a beautiful young lady, and both her "brothers" fall deeply in love with her. Unaware of the truth of her origins, Georgie eventually falls in love with the handsome grandson of the British Governor. When her mother finally reveals the truth and condemns her for being an exile's daughter, Georgie leaves for Britain in search of her real parents and to reunite with the man she loves, who has already returned there. Abel and Arthur follow her, and the three find themselves thrown into the cruel world of London's aristocracy, filled with lies and intrigue.
